HISTORY BROUGHT TO LIFE THROUGH FILM
01
My love of history and storytelling began long before I ever stood in front of an audience. As a child, I was fascinated by old films, great adventures and the remarkable people behind them.
02
My journey began in Sri Lanka and continued in the vibrant culture of Penang, Malaysia. Those early years sparked a lifelong curiosity about the world—its people, places and history.
03
I taught and inspired people of all ages in Germany, Korea and Scotland. Learning how to engage an audience became second nature—a skill I now bring to every talk.
04
Away from the classroom I developed another passion—flying. Becoming a glider pilot and instructor taught me that the best journeys begin by seeing the world from a different perspective.
05
My father's part in The Bridge on the River Kwai inspired a lifelong fascination with cinema. Every film opened a door to the real people, places and stories behind the screen.
06
Today I have the privilege of sharing those stories with audiences across the UK and aboard cruise ships, bringing history to life through film.
“ The past has so many stories to tell…
My mission is to bring them to life on screen.”
